We first started our electrical business in 2003 as Spot-On Electrical Ltd, employing 10 staff and working for some large companies all over the UK.

In 2006, we became involved in the UK Solar markets, helping to install some of the first MW sized projects in the UK and the first roof mounted grade 2* listed church installation, to name a few. Our approach was attention to detail and excellent customer service, with open and honest values regarding their projects. This approach made us a very popular customer choice, and we became a very busy and focused electrical contractor.

As the UK solar markets became tougher to secure due to government funding withdrawal, we focused more on our non-solar works for industrial electrical sectors, and control systems. Since 1998, we have worked for Viastore Systems GmbH as a UK service partner within the automation systems sector. This has seen us work on some of the UK’s largest projects, such as London Heathrow Terminal 5 and its 30 robot baggage handing system, Ford Motor Company, and BMW in the UK.

In 2017 we formed a newly branded company TL Electrical Engineering Ltd (TLEE), a small but diverse, skilled and flexible company focusing primarily on 3 key industries:

• UK Solar Support
• Industrial Electrical & Mechanical Installations
• Control Systems for automation and industrial applications

As a small company, we have worked for some very big sectors but managed to pull our weight. We carry a small overhead but high skill class, which makes us a favourite choice with our clients as we can give direct information, advice and hands-on help without the burden of ‘Red tape’, excessive papaerwork and operational costs.
